don't know if anyone has seen it yet but they are great, big 1 acre voids where the towers stood, with biggest man made waterfalls in America, would of been an experience doing the plumbing for that !! been watching documentaries on how much progress they have made at the site, some great engineering, would love the chance to work on a project of that size!

I bet it would have been interesting. My mate has been there and theres a photo of what it was like before ontop of a building and you can compare what it looked like before what happened.

10 years has gone quick, I was doing my work experiance in a builder merchants at the time and didnt really understand what was going on

This is the problem with our country. We're too soft on people. I bet these people are here illegally and we should have the power to just deport the toss pieces and get rid.

Your right. They mad patriots in the USA I have been there a few times and it still suprises me how much they love their country. We should be like that really but all we do is get screwed by the government so you can't really blame us for not loving the place. If you work hard in this country you get sod all whereas if you do sod all you get everything.

Fair play to America for being the way they are and taking no crap. We could learn from them

Oh no it isn't! Spent just short of 2 years living in Canada, fantastic place to visit (need to see it twice though, once in summer and again in Winter), but I have to say it's a better way of life over here, or where I live anyway.

Just to add......I wouldn't put anybody off from that type of move, it just wasn't for us.

I for one long for that day....... bring on the revoloution, no, problem with anyone who works hard pays there taxes etc. Lives by our rules, unfortunately this isn't happening, we pay the lazy and the dishonest but we all feel the same on this forum. The vast majority of working people think this but its the useless and stupid minority that have there voices heard.

i went it to the tile show room last week to meet a customer , while they were browsing i was having a brew with sales lad when 3 of our foreign freinds of some nationallity came to the counter with a trolly full of stuff , anyway cut a story short they were DEMANDING 30 % trade discount cos they were trades men. lad asks what trade they were in not one could answer. they left trolley went out side and jumped in a merc with taxi badges on it.

turns out they had been in 3 times that week and tried same thing

Someone found some very strange numerology coincidences surrounding 911...

Someone had a lot of time on their hands to work this out:

• New York City has 11 letters
• Afghanistan has 11 letters
• Ramsin Yuseb (The terrorist who threatened to destroy the Twin Towers in 1993) has 11 letters
• George W Bush has 11 letters
• The two twin towers make an "11"

This could be a mere coincidence, but this gets more interesting:

• New York is the 11th state
• The first plane crashing against the Twin Towers was flight number 11
• Flight 11 was carrying 92 passengers. 9 + 2 = 11
• Flight 77 which also hit Twin Towers, was carrying 65 passengers. 6+5 = 11
• The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11 as it is now known. 9 + 1+ 1 = 11
• The date is equal to the US emergency services telephone number 911. 9 + 1 +1 = 11

Sheer coincidence..?! Read on and make up your own mind:

• The total number of victims inside all the hi-jacked planes was 254. 2 + 5 + 4 = 11
• September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year. Again 2 + 5 + 4 = 11
• The Madrid bombing took place on 3/11/2004. 3 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 4 = 11
• The tragedy of Madrid happened 911 days after the Twin Towers incident

Sheer coincidence..?! Read on and make up your own mind: Now this is where things get totally eerie:

The most recognised symbol for the US, after the Stars & Stripes, is the Eagle. The following verse is taken from the Quran, the Islamic holy book:


"For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced: for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah and there was peace."


That verse
is number 9.11 of the Quran.

• Highlight the Q33 N
• Change the font size to 48
• Change the actual font to the WINGDINGS
