What word processing and spreadsheet apps do you use? I take it MS Office won't work? Do your customers ever have issues opening documents that you send (invoices/quotes/certs?)
I've just given up on Linux and Open Office after several years due to the annoying little niggles - my carefully-crafted layout for quotes looking all messed up on customers' PC because the formatting isn't 100% compatible, that sort of thing.
I've seen a couple of guys using iPads, they have boiler manuals and TBs on, and do invoices pretty much immediately the job is finished. I'd like that convenience, but it's only good if it works 100%...
