Just wondering what extra security do you guys use in keeping these secured to your van?
Ive heard of a few plumbers getting this stole, there not cheap neither!
Im personally getting a roof rack from van guard and a pipe rack from van vault. I havnt fitted any of these before and heard they are just bolted down, surely if a thief carried a tool to take the bolts out they could?
Van vault have 11mm thick chains and locks for roughly £24 on ebay. Might be worth investing in few of these? As a extra of security?
Also has any of your vans been broken into even tho you have the factory fitted alarm? Is it worth getting extra security on your van doors such as a better, more sensitive alarm system, since some of us carry close to 5k gear in our vans! (power tools, accessories, hand tools and spare fittings)
