Air Lock Help Please

If i want to blast cold mains back up the hot tap whats the best thing to use to connect the cold tap to the hot tap? Thanks in advance

easiest way is to connect hot to cold on washing machine connections, turn on hot then cold for about twenty seconds should do it.

you connect the two feeds for the washing machine together at the valves under the sink or where ever they are, using a spare w/m hose or one off the w/m. turn the hot on first then the cold. blast for about twenty seconds then turn off.

still the hot water on bath isnt nearly as powerful as the cold. have checked all valves, blasted mains through and still its pony!!!

if its a mixer just turn both on and use a cloth over the outlet to stop the water and that works aswell

Bit of bicycle inner tube across the taps if you've got funny shaped ones does the trick!
