Airlock in gravity fed cold water shower system

Please can someone help

I have an airlock in a gravity fed cold water pipe for a mixer shower which I just cant cure.

Having just dismantled a shower for retiling, I have put some full bore quarter turn isolators on the pipes and tried the system but the flow is quite restrictive. I am sure there is air in the pipes. The cold water pipe is fed from the header tank in the loft. How can I clear the air

I have tried running the water for 15 minutes but it has not cleared the air

Any help gratefully received

If it is an airlock you could run a hose from an outside tap or other mains pressure outlet (washing machine valve etc) with a bit of pipe stuck out the end secured with a jubilee clip. Put a compression isolator on the pipe and then fix shower hose - minus head - to one end of coupler. turn isolator off. turn on mains. then turn isolator on while you're standing next to it and backfill it with mains pressure.

I had the same thing i put a wet and dry vac on the shower hose then turned the shower on with it set on cold and it pulled the airlock through
