Another one bites the dust - ICE Energy

ICE Energy recently shut up shop, difficult to say whether administration or receivership at the moment as message to clients is confusing.

we are now taking advice from receivers

Clients have been left worse than high and dry as according the one that contacted us last week, their moneys were not in a ESCROW account and no Deposit Insurances where taken out either (Clients have contacted QANW, their alleged provider) so they are in the situation of having handed over significant sums of money and almost no chance of ever receiving that money back.

Both of the above (Escrow and Insurance) puts the company in breach of the MCS / RECC / HIES requirements, the MCS website lists ICE Energy Heat Pumps Ltd as being a member of RECC, RECC do NOT list them as a member.

They claim that

We are determined to fulfil customer contracts

However we have had lots of their clients contact us saying that they have had no communication from them at all, and they are all resigned to having lost their monies.
