worcester greenstar 24i system boiler runs 20/ 30 mins then goes to lockout reset and it willl run same again.

Fan pressure is 3.9 /4 mb and the figures for this boiler are greater than 3.1mb am i reading this figure the correct way ie as its negative numbers im assuming 3.9 is greater than 3.1 .Worcester helpline were no help at5 all they could suggest was to check the diaphram behind the fan
ive not stripped one of these before

And I've just noticed you went through 8k a little while ago, you weren't congratulated.

Apologies Steve, I'll go put it to rights!

Is this the one with the blue light on the front? If so does it flash and in what sequence?

What is the blue light and reset light doing? Need to know a sequence to identify the lockout. It could be co2 setting on minimum but would imagine it would modulate down quicker than half an hour for it to lock out. The diaphragm on the back of the fan is another possibility, spin the fan around by loosing the nut on the top of the heat exchanger and check it is sitting in the right place and is moving freely.

What he said 🙂

these are horrible boilers to strip down though :-(

Until you have set the co/co2 in service mode hi and low the fan pressure reading is irrelevant, get the inlet pressure correct before making any alterations.

Make sure CO2 are correct before anything. If it is an over heat fault remove the tube to the aps and link out the flue OH stat and test. (I would start with the flue OH stat first.
