I got sent this by someone I know. Too far for me...
Hi MasoodWe would like to receive an quotation regarding failed gas safety inspection:
1. Condense pipe leaking directly into wall causing dry rot.
2. Boiler flues have no visual inspection hatches or CO detectors.
3. Faulty isolation valve on the first floor.
1.The wall will have to be opened up to expose the condense pipe. The condense will have to be run to a drainage outlet. (this may require a condense pump, we will not know until the pipe is exposed)
2. Boiler flues have to have an inspection panel to every joint from boiler to outside flue terminal.
We can get over this by installing 2 No. carbon monoxide detectors to feed 4 No. boilers. These detectors will isolate the boilers in the event of a CO leak.
3. Install new isolation valve to replace faulty existing.We are in the process of seeking for the best quotation for that work. We have contacted a few companies to obtain the best offer.Please note that our office hours are from 9a.m till 5 p.m Mon-Fri.
