I did try another one when I first started out using electronic certificates can't even remember the name of it. I then tried gas checker and found it very user-friendly so I stuck with it. I'm not saying there aren't better ones out there but this one works very well for my purposes
I use gaschecker. Find it really good. The support has always been spot on.
Never used any others though.
Been using for 18 month now. So any certs i did last year i can renew instead of writing out again. Only have to change fga readings/gas rate/bp etc. (unless mew tenant). Use it for invoicing. Only thing that i dont like is the quoting.
I have used "gas engineer software" after trying all the others that were available at the time and have found it to be very good almost immediate response from them if you have a problem and constantly updated with new features and bug resolution.
Have been using for over a year so am now getting lots of repeat work from the automatic reminders it sends out for LGSC and servicing etc.
I've been on gas checker for 3 years. trialled a couple of others first but found gas checker easier.
Support has been good when needed, responded within an hour with a fix or a point in the right direction. I'm only domestic and only use the certs as invoicing is separate. Works for me but would suggest any free trials you can get to find what suits you.
