[TD="align: left"]The Apprentice + Programme is a 4 year college/work based programme, devised to route the new recruits through a day release or block release college programme whilst working as an employee at Laing O’Rourke.

With on the job training, the Apprentice+ scheme will integrate education, the work environment and personal development in the apprentices chosen discipline.

Laing O’Rourke is looking to:
• Create exciting and fresh experiences for Apprentices that differentiate Laing O’Rourke in the market.
• To recruit bright and motivated people into Laing O’Rourke
• To up skill our workforce by focussing on supporting achievement of qualifications.
• To expose apprentices to a variety of work experiences and development
• To attract a small number of high potential apprentices with the potential to fast track through the organisation and onto our Cadet programme.

The Apprentice + Programme will integrate a series of development modules aimed to expose Apprentices to the ‘New Reality’ of construction. Laing O’Rourke will support individuals around the programme with designated mentors and an introduction to Laing O’Rourke development tools such as career planning and personal development plans.
