Hi,

my boiler is not working well. It looks like the PCB and the bladder are gone so I need to get a new one.

The boiler is in a very awkward position and to change the flue we would need a 4 floor scaffolding to be put on a major road. (Possible but very very expensive). So I have two options:
1) get exactly the same boiler: Ariston Microgenus or Ariston microcombi which I think have been discontinued in 2007.
2) get a boiler which can be fitted to the same flue and flue end.

Does anyone know where such a boiler can be found?

Thanks everyone for help
Gianni

If changing your boiler it'll have to be a HE boiler [condensing] therefore a new flue is required. Have a word with a GS installer on your options.
Sorry to hear about your bladder!

go away from ariston there poo you wont get a direct replacement as all boilers are now he

Thanks Aggis and Gas Man.
Does it really have to be a HE boiler? I mean is it compulsory by law or could I fit a standard one?
To gas man: by now I know Ariston is not the best, if other boiler could fit in with the same flue and same flue end I would get something else.

Thanks

Gianni

it does have to be he but there are installers around who dont care you wont get a ariston mind so the flue would need replacing anyway
