I had a guy laying new loft insulation and he looked at my water tank in the loft and said that it is an asbestos one, which I knew.
I explained that the house was once a council house and that we bought it from a private owner and when we had the survey, were told that the tank was okay.
He said that it was not looking to good now and that when the council sold the house, it should have replaced it.
He reckoned that the council should do it for free now.
I wondered, before I chase my council, if anyone else had any knowledge/information regarding this please?
