Backer Boards

I have purchased light weight Backer boards for my shower enclosure, the enclosure consists of a rear wall screed ed with concrete and side walls studding. The Backer boards are the composite type with a foam core, what type of adhesive would be suitable for use on the screed-ed wall please ? would plasterboard adhesive be any good?. I will also use the proprietary Backer Board screw and large washer fixings.
