We moved into a bungalow 7 months ago and had all the pipe work replaced hot and cold and heating also had a Logic Max C30 boiler, everything was fine up until 3 weeks ago when we started to have a banging noise from the pipes whenever a valve was opened, taps ,shower, toilet, washing machine on the hot and cold, i have checked the pipes and even put more clips on them, removed a Surestop system, replaced the stopcock, replaced the cistern inlet filling valve, run all taps for length of time to see if there is any air, and bled all the rads.
The noise does seem louder above the boiler and it does have one of those sphere shaped vessel on the cold feed.
If i turn on the taps slowly there is no noise but the washing machine and toilet do create a louder noise.
