regarding bathroom cold feeds on vented gravity systems

can I go either mains fed, or gravity. to sink,bath,cistern.
What's best practice here
(I've showers on separate balanced runs)

I was also thinking if I have a hangover I can drink water from sink LOL without having to walk to kitchen !!

it's better for you than water! you never know what they've put in it, booze is consistant lol.

The amount of breaks in the main we get here are unreal, and the pressure is too poor for a sealed system. Hence my reason for going open vent.

By using gravity feed you are able to determin how much water you want and pipe size accordingly.

I prefer mains fed to all, especially the bath. After a long, hard day it fills quicker by mains and you can get that nice glass of wine and a good book and chill out in a hot bath sooner.
