Hey guys

I know this ain't plumbing. But some of you may know.

I have a small bathroom but water seems to leak to the kitchen. I realised under the floor tiles one of the floorboards on side of the bath was wet through and almost rotten.

So I feel the water has been seeping through that due to splashes over the bath.

Firstly is this a common issue ?

Secondly where will be the best place to buy a small floorboard?
Bathroom is tiny. I'd say about 2.5 to 3meters long.

For putting new floor tiles on the side. What do you reckon is best to fill the gaps between tiles to ensure their waterproof.?

Thanks

Pictures help.

Cant imagine a few splashes causing complete rotting through of a floor board.

Can replace the rotten boards with ply.

But really, if the boards are rotten through, I’d be lifing more tiles to check and the whole floor likely needs redoing. Especially if its tiles straight on to floor boards.

It's been an ongoing problem for a few years and when I removed the tile I noticed it ...
I didn't see any other leaks.

I'll try get some pics but I'm not currently in the house.
