baxi 105 e flue

want to alter the flue on the above boiler as it terminates into next doors garden.it needs to be terminated verticaly- the problem being the boiler is 400mm from the flat roof ceiling inside - i need to fit 2 elbows to take it the required distance from next doors boundary this would take the second elbow to the ceiling height and the depth of the flat roof from the felt to the plaster is only 6" i would be cutting the vertical flue terminal down very short is there a min distance phoned baxi and they said they dont do a 4" vert flue for the old baxi only 5" and i would have to fit an adaptor and then the elbows . anyone come accross a problem like this . i could dropp the boiler down but that would mean a lot of work

Hi Ant. You probably quoted to drop the boiler by now but that sounds like the only work around. Does the flue need to be moved for nuisance reasons? Only reason I ask is because it's only NCS 🙂

hi steve ,landlord wont pay so fitted a cage for now to stop the kids next door climbing and putting things in the flue. i give it a few months before its ripped off and flue full of pebbles etc
