fitted a performa 24he eco today with a plume management kit baxi have modified this, and totaly ballsed it up in the process, what they have done is drill a hole in the bottom of the kit to allow water in the air duct out[if it gets in]but as most of you know when you set the plume kit up on most makes the clips against the wall dictate were the flue ends up do this with baxis set up and said hole ends up in the wall, baxis advice? pack it of with spacers!!!! how the hell can you make up 50mm? come on baxi this is ridicules

So they are saying you have to use 50 mm spacers behind flu bracket,do they supply them, another design fault, hope they are providing new flue length as now cut short, can see why they have fitted hole ish but does it let air intake from hole if so seems strange as if you could take air from that point, you surely could terminate in that location ?I must be missing something
Have they put wrong elbow in kit?

yes they are saying to pack it off 50mm behind the clips, they dont supply packers they are saying the hole[15mm]is there to let water out the air duct is further forward cant see why the hole is needed baxi said to me someone else makes our flues and newer kits have modded brackets i said well you specify how the flues should be and you should tell the trade if you get it wrong i have fitted the standard flue for now and will get the modded one on monday tbh the baxi tech guy said he does fit performas?[did not know they were gsr]? and cant see why this hole has been added,i said it would look bloody awful packed off 50mm its not so much wrong kit but a design flaw
