Hi to everyone, this is my first post so be gentle with me!

My baxi combi 80e keeps cutting in and out when the heating is on, the radiators get hot and then it cuts out then cuts back in a few minutes later. The radiator led flashes when it cuts out and According to the destructions this is a fault on the central heating sensor. My question is do I simply replace the central heating sensor first or could this problem be due to something else causing the boiler to show this fault condition? If it is the sensor how much do they cost approx. and can I get the part from PTS or Plumb Centre?( do I need to use heat sink paste when re-fitting the sensor) PS it doesn,t cut out when I run the hot water tap and I live in a hard water area, your comments would be appreciated thanks.

Replaced the central heating sensor, cost £12 from PTS, smeared some heat sink paste on it and jobs a good un !
