Came across the above earlier today, fan running, but after a short time, went to fan fault. Couldn't hear the APS switching, so I decided to take a look in the fan and flue elbow. This is what I found!
A little spider had crawled in to the fan venturi and spun a web, preventing the air getting to the negative on the APS!
Cleaned him out (he was dead anyway) and all was good!
