Can someone enlighten me where the water comes from which lies in the combustion chamber when the expansion vessel has lost its charge ,been to 2 of these boilers recently recharged vessels but cannot spot where this water is from , I've checked the condense hose but seems fine any ideas ?

Think he means inside the box when he removes cover ! any signs of water streaks ?? these expansion tanks have been known to leak around seam

Jts,yes the the box when you take the cover off ,didn't think of the exp vessel seam ,looked all around with torch couldn't see anything but will take extra notice next time , have you had this before?.

Had some of the early ones leak from seem, check connection on bottom, is cap on valve ? if tank faulty could be leaking from this.
