given up today!.
previous engineer already tried pcb i was told after baxi tec told him to switch it but he didnt fix it, same problem.

call for heat all sequences fan speeds up- no spark, no fire no fault showing!!
took leads off and gave the valve a couple of whacks and get bp at 14.5mb (it was 8.5mb before the whack).
still no ignition,,,,

told them to pay baxi for repair - going home.lol

me being me...i told her the boilers shiiiite.
got no money to swap it but she did ask for price.
told her she could have a main eco for the money she paid to the guy who installed it also tried to fix it, but she has arsed him out now.lol

only about 3 years old and 3 months out of warrany.

If it's had a new board, when powering up the software update should read 1.44 or above, anything lower and it's out of date. There's also an RDS stick on these, plugs onto the board which create weird and wonderful faults. Assuming these were both changed for the updated versions it's likely to be the gas valve IMO. Used to commission and annually service around 30 of these things and had my local Baxi man on my favourits, in the end he stocked me out with loads of spares to save him the hassle. They've pulled the GA's now thank f***!
