Best way to connect to this waste???

What's the best way to reconnect to this waste fitting could just join on to the push fit but would rather it's done properly and securely if possible

Not sure not yet disturbed it..what are the two options for threaded or unthreaded. Was thinking of a flexi rubber coupling with the strangle bands on

You could try this .

McAlpine T11M multi-fit tank connector 1.1/2"​

One half is threaded and the other will accommodate the 40mm plastic pipe. Worth a try.
