When I was training to be a Gas Engineer (From Scratch) one day a week for 6 months I'd travel by train from my home in North London down to the Birchcroft Training centre.

It was worth every penny penny and every minute of my time I love the people there the staff are amazing I still speak to my tutor til this day he's just epically good.

I keep hearing people tell stories of bad colleges, training centers etc. So here's one for the good guys :hurray:. They get you in, they teach you properly, help you with porfolios, get you qualified to be the best of the best and above all they're human and so much fun to work with. And no I don't work there but sometimes wish I did :sweatdrop:

Of course??? I'm fully gas safe registered and plumbing!

you say of course but many people dont find work and hence my question. glad to see its working out for you, were are you working, an employer or self employed?

Self Employed (Arnos Heating) and that's the very reason I posted the recommendation. I've heard so many stories of people signing up for colleges and not being able to get through portfolios or find work. These guys are so straight forward you go in you train, you study a lot at home too, they help wih your portfolio and their teaching method is brilliant.

Hi Fuzzy, I recieved the thread link. Tell you what as it's a bank hols today lol give me til tomorrow and I'll pull out my old file as I'm sure I've got the course fees I payed on an invoice somewhere. NB: the fees will more than likely have changed by now xxxx
