Im another damsel in distress and i would like to ask you guys about some concerns i have about the way my CH is being installed.
I may be worrying about nothing but anyway...my installers are using flexible piping, whatever the name of it is...you will have to excuse my explaining as im not to sure exactly the terms for things ...... some of the floor boards are up for easy access but in some rooms the pipe is being fed between the rafters and through bricks in the stud walls.
My concern is how much force they are using to pull the pipes through the bricks because of the angles, the pipe is very scratched now and i have read that the fittings can leak if the scratches on the pipes are deep, would it leak straight away.
Also they have not covered the end of the pipe when its being pulled through the rubble, im worried that debris might be in the pipework which if it is can it get into the boiler and rads, or do they flush it out first.
I hope im worrying about nothing.
