black or blue label...does it matter?

I came across someone who was telling me that black label copper pipes are better than blue ones?

i've never paid any attention to the colours.....

anyone know if there is a difference between the 2?

From memory & without looking at a book they're categorised as X,y, z?

Same here mate. All table X but sometimes blue, sometimes black and sometimes yellow tape and end caps.

dunno about colours of the labels but used Yorkshire copper tube last week,nice to work with as its quite soft,unlike that Belgian stuff thats difficult to bend

it did used to have coloured labels when we only got wendsbury tube now its any colour

All changed a few years ago to standardise across europe. Now do it by hardness and thickness. Usual is R250 half hard, a certain thickness is same as Table X.
