Hi there,
These peeps are still ringing me, missed most of the calls, by chance.
She was leaving me nice cheery messages to pay now and get 5% off la laa phone back with credit card BUT today it has changed... to
YOU ARE NOW REQUIRED TO PAY... and I wonder what the all else will be? Debt collectors.. ??
What can I do? Trading standards just log it. Duno if police would bother... Worried tho, just got a BAD feeling.
So anybody got any advice?
Just ignore or... call back and let them have it...scammers.. blah blah...?

Don't sound good to me.

How did they first approach you and have you actually spoken to them and expressed any interest in their product.

I got a lot of unsolicited calls when I first appeared on the Gas Safe website.
Fortunately they left me alone when I said that I wasn't interested.

Orignal call was a fella who wanted to know if i was interrested in advertising with in a magazine that was affilliated with SAFE NEIGHBOURHOOD SCHEME. I was busy so said yeah send me some details, then he pressed me for what type, size add would I like? I just chose the smallest/ cheapest but said that he should send me the info. To which he said that his collegue would call me bck to get details? She rang about ten minutes later and I gave her my postal add to send the information to. Then about three weeks later I got a 'proof' of my advert. She then contacted me again a day after that asking if the information was correct on the add. I said that I hadn't agreed tothe add. She rang off saying that she would check and ring me back. She never did. Then about another 3/4 weeks after that I got a glossy BLUE LIGHT mag in the post-puzzled i took a look and lo and behold there's "MY ADD" and tucked in the back of the mag was an invoice for £210 !! I know it's a scam but I don't want to get into this REALLY!! What can i do now?

The only people who get the mag are the people they scam in to advertising, Ignore them and they will go away, you have not signed an agreement

It depends really on how much you value £210 against all the stress of fighting your case.
These scams prey on people who don't want the potential grief of not paying.

It might be an idea to google for advice more specific to your situation.
