Just had the New Gas valve fitted to our old Housewarmer.
along with the repaired myson/Thorn/Baxi Control Box.
This box has been repaired twice by the same company with the same result.
it will run for 30mins or so , then stop/switch off/pack up ? and never go again.
It a very simple single sided PCB with only a few odd resisitors/ caps/ transistors etc. and a couple of relays.
The present repairers just seem to want to repalce a single duff transistor but never look for the root cause of the failing item .
If I had Circuit diag I'd do it myself ..
So looking for a reliable company who will do the job properly !
