Hi all,
Our hot water has been running hot and cold for a couple of days. Some troubleshooting and I’ve narrowed it down to the boiler rather than the thermostatic cartridges etc.. in the shower/taps.
Boiler is set to 55 degrees for hot water. The boiler when hot water is running is fluctuating between 70-90 degrees. Reaches 90 and drops down to 70 then up to 90 etc…

We can’t get an engineer call out even by British Gas until Monday (3 days since it’s Friday today)

My partner is due in hospital for operation on Tuesday and has to shower with special stuff for 3 days prior.

Would you think it’s safe to use until the call out or recommend total stopping for the hot water.

Incidently the heating is perfect, holding the correct temperature. (Combi boiler)
