Bristan Monoblock Mixer Tap

I have a leaky valve on a Bristan Monoblock Mixer Tap. Have removed and cleaned both valves but the problem still persists. Is it possible to dismantle and repair a valve, as the cost of two new valves is about £60 (only supplied as a pair from Bristan). I'm assuming the problem may only be a damaged O ring or something similar. Can anyone help?

presume your talking about 1/4 turn ceramics, good merchant should have ones to fit for about £10 each

Thanks for the reply. It is the 1/4 turn valve, but how do I dismantle the valve?

soak the valves in vinegar, should get rid of any limescale
