Bristol plumber trainee looking for gas engineer to see me through course?

i would truly appreciate any gas safe engineer in the Bristol/southwest area that could help me through my portfolio. i have my city & guilds level 2 and have been doing bits of work experience in my holidays for plumbing but eager to get stuck into the gas industry. im 25, have full driving licence, willing to travel and easy to work with. on the verge of paying for my foundation course but this is the only thing stopping me as you know its important to have a gas safe engineer on board so understand its a big ask so would be forever grateful as no one in my family in the trade. thanks to anyone who replies
