Was speaking to a bg engineer and he'd been given 15 hours to do a bbu to combi conversion vertical flu gas re run rad valves powerflush and a condense pump. Whether he did or not I don't know but I think I'm pretty quick and that would take me 24!
I worked for them for 5 years. Know a few guys that still doing their installs. Was speaking to a bg engineer and he'd been given 15 hours to do a bbu to combi conversion vertical flu gas re run rad valves powerflush and a condense pump. well a power-flush is a day before you start, so not a hope in hell unless 5 men on it
My thoughts exactly day one would be bbu and cylinder out boiler on and powerflush for me
And I did allow a day for a powerflush, 2-3 hours is just not enough surely?
BG engineers are allocated 2.3 hrs for a owerflush
To be honest though, I think it's worth paying a little bit more if the system is going to last longer and be more reliable by doing the work properly. It's when things get way too expensive that the pros are outweighed. I'd hope that paying a bit more meant you got a bit more.
