Brushed brass overflow system for basin without integrated overflow

We bought a Calypso Brenta vanity unit with basin. The basin came without any waste, and with just a hole for the overflow (no integrated channel). We ordered a brushed brass pop up plug for it, to match the rest of the bathroom (including the basin tap). Now we're stuck as we're completely unable to find any basin overflow system with a brushed brass overflow trim, unless they're the clip on ones, but my understanding is they're only good when the overflow channel is integrated into the sink. Can anyone advise on what to buy?
