Hello all, im new to this forum.

I have obtained my 6129 last year and have been working with a bathroom/ kitchen fitter for the last 8 months. I have gained lots of experience since then and are now assisting in hanging and piping up combi boilers/running new plastic water mains/replacing soil stacks chainging cylinders etc. I also done my BPEC water regs as well.

I am keen to progress and obtain my corgi/gas safe so my question is this.

should i join a level 3 course (one day at college a week) this will take one year. or spend a lot more cash and do a gas course which may only take 6 month approx. they both give you your ACS at the end etc.

Has anyone done a simular route to achieveing corgi? am i missing something?

what do we think the best route for me should be. all advice apprecated!!

thanks

I'd go for the longer option. It will give you more experience when you come to doing the assessments.
