I'm not going to detract from your post fuzzy and go off on some tangent here ... What you posted is important for up and coming 'newbies' to the industry and sounds like you know what your talking about.

The resit's i refer to were the ACOPS & ACS we're to do every 5 years.

I presumed that what you meant. Not resits exactly, they will have been the re-assessment, which is less in content than the initial and just to make sure your still up with the regs and safety precautions etc. I agree with the 5 year license it seems to keep us on out toes. there is talk of it being reduced in content (prob 1 day) but run every year, not sure if thats better or not, i suppose time will tell

I'd prefer a one day thing. Be even better if they paid us for the inconvenience! LOL Just kiddin. It's important for us older lot to keep up with the times! Complacency is just as dangerous as ignorance! 33 years at this trade and still learning!
