Had one saturday morning. External Trianco combi. Wouldnt stay lit, not really been looked after. Quick wipe of the photocell and away it went. Quick check of the combustion and paid by bacs. Did have to get the tools out though 🙂

do you get paid per call zeeb? we get flat fee and its pot luck how often your out i had 2 befiore 8pm on friday 2 saturday and two today hopefully thats it for today

Yeah we get a standby and then a fee for each call.

I had one yesterday afternoon,checked timer/room stat all fine calling for heat went to boiler old glow worm 22 30 all boxed in.put a test on meter 4.5 mb drop(no earth bonding).managed to get at the boiler and could smell gas found one leek but no luck finding anything else. Had a bit of a check round freestanding cooker out of the ark with no chain,went into the living room to find as sticker on it.just what you want on a Sunday,capped the gas in the end I felt awful as it was an old lady.

You'd feel worse if you didn't cap it and something happened!
