had a call this afternoon from a woman at my golf club, done a couple of jobs for her before and recently quoted her for a bath to shower install, which is what i thought she was calling for!!

nope!.

i was in a loft at the time on a well paid cws tank jobbie!!

tbh, i think he hadn't a clue what i was saying to him but he did take note of fitting iso's, its a fortic tank so i hope he had fun with it. not heard back so probably got it sorted.

That reminds me job couple days ago. Leaking HEX on combi, drained system, and called my merchant for price. Said I will get price next morning, so told cust that I will call him in the morning. Obviously explained that there is no heating as boiler is not working. Got call couple of hours later that there is no hot water. oh boy..

Had one today my mate called me up for a girl in his work wanted a PCB for her boiler i said well how much has she already been quoted ? He said £130 but its extra £20 to get it next day ! I just said well tell her thats her own fault for buyin online !

Cheeky begger wanted me to get the part and then give it to her gas fitter instead of using my own lad !

I had one last year. They disconnected the oil tank for some reason and then phoned me saying that they couldn't get the boiler to fire. Could I talk to the bloke to get it running. I'm afraid I'm not nice and told them to do one.
