Debit and credit cards are not as safe a payment as some think. Customers can always request a chargeback if they are trying a fast one and maintaining an issue with service or something like that.

Then there is card fraud etc which in many cases you will be liable for.

Internet banking is free and, yes, you will always get the odd non-payer but in 99% of cases my customers pay me before I would have the money in my account through one of these machines.

Not convinced 2.75% of my turnover (a lot higher % of my profit) is worth it tbh.

Yes 2.75 is a huge amount. I dont do alot on it but its there for convenience and avoiding the "ahhhhh havent got enough cash can you call back types"

And I pass the 2.75 on

costco do one for a monthly fee and 14 pence a transaction for debit cards think the monthly fee is about 15-18 quid depending on machine will try and find a link. not sure but i think you may also be to take payment over the phone an extra fee too.

Inless you do £750 a month on card then worldpay is cheaper at 2.75 per transaction as no subscription fees

like i say seems reasonable if you use it a lot. but that could be done in 1 transaction/boiler swap

i dont use mine a lot so use a zinc worldpay but the charges are high. most people will do a bank transfer whilst im there and i can check there and then on my phone.

Yeh if I get to use it enough id look again as never heard of that one so thanks.
Mines the zinc. Seems ok so far

costco has a limit that you must use with in a month or the fee you to that amount i think its £1250 per month

Got a worldpay mobile one and it is shocking. On my 2nd one and they are so hit and miss if they will get signal or not. Would definitely avoid next time around

surely your mobile phone is the issue as the payment machine just relies on blue tooth
