Hello,

I am about to install a new central heating system.
Customer has specified chrome pipework for exposed pipe.

I have nevered worked with chrome before and looking to get soe pointers on how to handle, solder, joined, bend and install it?

cheers

Bending chrome is much like normal pipe, only make sure the rollers and guides are tip top.

Soldering- you will need to remove the chrome from the pipe where it is going to be soldered.

Compression- same as above chrome needs to be removed to join it.

Other than that it is pretty much the same as

I have never removed chrome when using compression, only when soldering and you dont want to be soldering if its on show ! compression only

cheers lads for all the tips,

Compression seems the best way to go. I dont fancy bending or soldering as it is on show and the house if freshly decorated.
