Clogged drain pipe

My washer machine drain pipe will back up with the drain hose from the washer, but when I put the hot water line in the drain, it will run forever and not back up. I have tried just about everything with the same results. Thanks in advance.

Is it connected to a spigot or is it separate, eg upstand? Also a washing machine will throw water out at force.

Can you post a photograph of the pipework you're trying to use, please?

It is connected to the drainpipe in the wall that leads to the main draine.

Probably hitting the back of the elbow with force, not to mention smells entering the room. As per @king of pipes, plumber required.

Excellent link, although worht noting 1.5" diameter is standard in the UK. We haven't quite followed the bloody American bigger-is-better concept that far (yet) so 1.5" is still more than sufficient for European market washing machines.
