Hi all been a while since I've been here.

I'm after a bit of advise please.
I'm replacing a heat only boiler, the existing setup was gravity hw and pumped ch.
I've changed it to fully pumped with 2x2 ports

The existing cold feed and vent are teed into the hot water flow and return in the cylinder.

Do I have to run a new cold feed and vent to downstairs where the pump and valves are or is there away around it as it will be major upheaval.

Really don't want to pressurize the system either due to old pipework and rads

Cheers.

First tee off boiler flow pipe is vent , second tee , cold feed , both close together within 150 mm then straight on to pump.

Ah right yes that exactly how I would normally do it.
Looks like I'm going to have to try and get some new pipework in from upstairs then.

That's a right pain ha ha
