Hi All, I'm a sparky and have dropped in from the "other" side to ask what may appear to be a daft question!

In recent years I've had to bleed two of our radaitors occassionally to get rid of air, but since I've turned our heating on this autumn, the bleeding has been required every few days or else the two radiators won't get hot at the top!

Is there anything I can do or do I need to get somebody in??

Thanks

move curtains out of way and try to light the 'air' as you bleed. if you get a flame it is not air but hydrogen - a by product of corrosion, you may then need a powerflush and some ongoing chemical treatment to prevent further corrosion.
