cooker not getting hot

found this to day on a cooker hose connection wrong washer and lashings of boss white was stopping gas

I have had this ooooooh so many times

mind you the amount of burnt meals I get,maybe should do the same to our cooker 😛
 
correct me if im wrong but wouldnt that have affected the gas flow from day one of installation? surely the guy installing it would have picked up on this problem when commissioning it? does that sound right or am i talking out my bum cos its a sunday and my brain is MIA until work starts tomorrow? 😀

Well yeh obseen,if you,me or steve fitted if we probably would but the kitchen fitter or builder who probably fitted it probably did not worry to much about commissioning and probably the low gas flow rate was explained away to appliance being enviromently friendly by using less gas 😀
