Any suggestions where to get the corgi publications; Gas rating slide rule (GRB1), Combustion performance testing (CPA1) and Using portable electronic combustion gas analysers (GID12). Can only seem to find em on Corgi direct and they seem a bit pricey!

bought mine from corgi direct after trying elsewhere , i found there was no price difference.

You'll probably only find them on CORGI direct, though I did see Essential Gas Safety on Amazon.
