As a landlord, I am surprised a CP12 cert can be issued when the issuing engineer has diagnosed a faulty component within the boiler.
The component in question is an automatic air vent for a Vallaint EcoTek 615 system boiler.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

I look forward to your reply,
Kind regards,
Roy

The landlord gas safety record/certificate is just that, to check the safe operation of the appliance(s) and any flue(s) that the landlord owns. An automatic air vent inside a boiler isn’t a safety defect.
