Argh,

Having a rage day today!! Just got off the phone to an existing customer who is having a problem with their power shower. Spoken to Mira today who said it's most likely to be a plumbing related issue causing the problem. Informed the customer I am going to have to do 1 possibly 2 appointments, 1 to diagnose it and another if a new part is required.

Cost to them £50 including VAT as they are a repeat customer per appt. Husband was fine and then wife phones back. I explained to her that after VAT and tax and fuel that's £30 per appt. 'Oh yes, I do understand that, but it's now very expensive for us. We may have to go with someone else'. My response, 'Ok then, goodbye'.

My new business attitude is anyone who quibbles with my costs can go **** themselves basically. People like this do make me question why I do this job at times!!

Made me chuckle that! 🙂

Quibblers can go forth and multiply, especially if they are quibbling before you start, what's it going to be like getting paid at the end? 🙂 🙂

Sad thing is it was a repeat customer as well, done 2 other small jobs for them too. Sometimes I think it's important to know when to let customers go!

Mira always say that it's a plumbing problem lol.
They also say that if they attend the site they will charge £70, not so expensive after all, are you!
