daily dog walk was intersting!

just returned from my regular track dog walk down by the river.

little bit harrowing this time though as i was there whilst the police dive team were pulling out a body !!
so far as i can gather from my friend who lives 50 yards away it was a woman walking her dog.
i gave the police a dog lead as it was found wondering around the scene looking frieghtened and lost.
forensics, coroner and body still on the banks now since 2pm today. someone handed some keys into the pub accross the road and turned out to be the dead persons so they lifted the car and took it away.:sad:

Probably slipped, fell in and the cold water along with a heavy coat meant the poor lady couldn`t get out.

thats what we think. the bank is 6 foot from the grass onto a 'beach' and in some places it has rocks, in fact some where the body was.
so, if the river was up then the beach is covered to the bank.
easily stubble over and into water but only 2-4' deep depending.
