I've got a Britony Combi SE 80, hot water is fine but the central heating wont come on from the room thermostat or by the timer on the front.
No error lights showing - it just doesn't fire up and is silent. I don't think the heating has cut in since early this year.. something clogged maybe ?

Am I right in thinking that the common issue is the thermistor or pressure switch ?

If so can I determine where the fault lies by unplugging these and connecting the terminals (i.e. bypass the switch) to see if it fires? Or will I have to change them out so I know its not them ?

Thanks for any help.

You sure you have heating on on the time clock? I seam to recall they do not have the simplest of time clocks to operate.
Other than that you will need call an engineer to diagnose the fault.
