Worcester bosch 34 cdi , pump not activating..not sure what it could be, E9 error, not hot water

Hey guys first post here, so apologies if i have not searched correctly or anything like that

Our kitchen tap was set to low water rate from the stopper underneath the sink. I am not sure if the low water flow rate has caused complications/problems. A new person who helps tidy our house has been turning the water on and off a lot too.

we have an FW100 thermostat / controller, but i am not sure if it is anything to do with that

Basically, the heat exchanger at the top right of the boiler gets hot, the pipe coming down to the water pump is not getting hot. Power is coming to the water pump, via using a wireless electric detector. The pump is not jammed, as it spins freely.

The heat exchanger has been cleaned / serviced. The electrodes have been changed too. The left electrode was covered green, so i thought it could have been that but it was not.

There are two sensors on the heat exchanger at the top, one on the right, with two red wires, and one with an orange wire sort of to the top left which has a copper pipe coming in. I assume they are both sensors....can they be bypassed ? (by disconnecting the orange or bridging the two red wires) would that help me diagnose the problem ?

the diverter valve opens and closes.

The heat exchanger has been cleaned and has water flowing though it

theres also a green black and white wire which goes to the water pump, i disconnected that wire but i am not thinking it is that, that is causing the problem

it gets to about 120 degrees from the front panel indicator, and i get an E9 error blinking, and the reset button lights up with the blue power button

I am wondering what could stop the hot water flowing,

Does anyone have any idea please

Sounds like you need a gas engineer and maybe stop fiddling with stuff you don’t know about

Heating working / pump spinning if not
Pump fecked

I got my brother coming out tomorrow (ex gas safe)

I got a gas safe engineer to call too, was trying to see if something i could fix.

Some good comments online in general to give tips , such as testing ohms too. Plus somethings are not being explained clearly (online) and better to have an engineer here in person to see. To be honest, i seen a gas safe engineer picking up on tips too from comments as they make post

Was just seeing if anything helpful can be achieved before hand

Yes, it could be the waterpump (same problem when i put heating on too)

Thanks all the same, and i appreciate the reply
