yea looks like it bunch of rough *******s boiler fitted by BG 4 years ago a ideal isar 30 kw and serviced by them since in total with resistances its a 70 ft gas run a 30 kw combi a 31 kw double gas oven range with 8 burners and 2 gas fires roughly 75 kw being fed through 3/4 lead with a internal diameter of 15mm pipe note the kinked lead at the meter,they even asked BG why the gas cooker extinguished when the boiler was providing hot water BG told them cooker was faulty,they lost faith in BG after the isar they provided kept breaking down but a lockout fault was always a issue bet it was the gas supply anyway some pics while i fill out the RIDDOR,and yes that is lead under the floor boards

They should have been stripped of the name when privatised to many custards are still duped in to thinking they are some kind of authority on Gas. If there was a tune for a Z team I would suggest there Tv comercials played that instead of the one they use now.

On a more serious note, that is terrible by BG. I had one a couple years back where a new 30cdi system boiler had been fitted by BG, off the gas meter in old lead pipe for about 3 meters all bent and crushed. Getting 10mb at the boiler on max, who in there right mind would leave that as it is. I was there to fit a cooker and refused until they agreed I could replace the lead pipe.

BG and GS in each others pockets . You won't get anything at all from them ! Absolute joke.... Bit like David Cameron talking about fuel poverty , at least john major knew what reasonably poor was!

one of the major problems with very large firms is they internally cover up poor workmanship. So a service engineer comes around for 1st year service, its more important to keep the customer happy with the brand than find fault. Then a year or two later after cover up after cover up its the cookers fault for going out and the customer can have the problem sorted for x amount of money............... oh and they will need a powerflush for £800 or the cover will be invalid.
